With general loss in mind, but thankfully no one in particular to whom I need to send this card, I designed the card at left for my stash.
I incorporated both Close To My Heart's Laughing Lola designer paper, with black ribbon to add a classic touch. The sentiment is stamped with a beautiful new CTMH set called "Words of Comfort (C1524, $13.95), using CTMH Exclusive Ink in "Gypsy." The metal flourished flower is also from Close To My Heart.
I hope never to have to use this card -- but realistically, I'll be glad to have it on hand. Take the challenge to make a card that's difficult for you before you need it, when you'll probably not feel like crafting.
I like these rich colors...very opulent!
Beautiful card, love the colour combo.
I wholeheartedly agree that making sympathy cards is never a joy but you did a wonderful job with the richness of purple and the LBC Simply Black Rumple Ribbon - whoever receives this will consider it a treasure!
This card is gorgeous Ellen! I love the purple & black together.
Beautiful card - that is one of my favorite CTMH papers. Like that you have some color in the card too!
Beautiful card! Its never easy to make this kind of card but now you'll have one on hand...just hope it isn't anytime soon!!!
What a pretty card! These types of cards are so hard to make but I agree, they are great to have on hand in case they are needed.
Gorgeous! I never what to do for this type of card so thank you for posting this! I may have to scraplift!! :) Hugs!
